METHOD OF
LARYNGEAL PAPILLOMATOSIS TREATMENT

Outcomes are
described of the treatment of laryngeal papillomatosis, both solitary (23
patients) and multiple (15). The follow-up period was 10 years.
Surgery remains
the most effective method supplemented with CO2-laser treatment of
the operation field, which makes it possible to perform bloodless incision of
the tissues and coagulation of the bleeding vessels.
Radical
papilloma ablation was performed under narcosis by means of oxygen injection.
With the trachea involvement, Friedel respiration bronchoscope was used. In the
postoperative period, anti-inflammatory drugs (podophylline, prospidin,
celandine infusions) were administered.
Field of
application: otorhinolaryngology.
